Many commercial accommodation providers such as motels and backpackers are already booked, however Cycle Challenge offers a free accommodation service. Please email accommodation@cyclechallenge.com for a list of available accommodation such as apartments, self-contained holiday houses, and B&Bs.

Getting to Taupo

Travel to Taupo is now even easier than ever before – Air New Zealand now has direct flights from Sydney, Australia to Rotorua, which is only an hour from Taupo. A number of major airlines also fly direct from many international locations to Auckland and Wellington international airports, both of which are within 5 hours of Taupo.

Real New Zealand introduces various outdoor activities in the middle of breathtaking New Zealand natures and also competitive but entertaining sport events in New Zealand. Among many sport events, Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge is one of the most outstanding ones with long standing successful history and overwhelmingly large number of cyclists involved. Real New Zealand is LTCC’s official marketing agents and we help Japanese cyclists to join and enjoy the event. In 2010, LTCC celebrates 34th anniversary and the event never stop improving.
