Event Announces Exciting Array Of Spot Prizes

Organisers of the Contact Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge have announced their selection of Major Spot Prizes for 2012.

Recognised as the largest Spot Prize pool for any cycling event in the country, entrants in the 2012 Contact Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge will again have a chance a winning a brand new car along with an exciting array of other prizes at this years event.

Headlined by a new model Hyundai i20GLS, the event also boasts other fantastic Spot Prizes including a $25,000 Sundance Spa Pool, a 7 day trip for two to the 2013 Santos Tour Down Under in Adelaide, multiple chances to win a 2013 model Merida bike, a 10 day Trailite family campervan holiday rental, Tissot watch packages, cases of Forrest wines, and a Formula Challenge ultimate race car driving experience including accommodation at the luxurious Hilton Lake Taupo.

In addition there will also be thousands of minor spot prizes given away on registration day.

Event Director Kay Brake says “ There is a fresh new look to the variety of Spot Prizes for our event entrants this year, which will add to the overall flavour and atmosphere of what is already an exciting day for our 10,000 participants. About the Contact Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge

The Contact Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge, which attracts thousands of cyclists from around New Zealand and overseas, is being held on Saturday 24 November. Cycle Challenge 2012 will be the 36th year the event has been held. There are 12 different cycling events available, catering for cyclists all fitness and ability levels.
