January/February 2026 Update

This year started with a jam-packed schedule filled with lots of training, racing and extracurricular activities! In early January I flew down to Christchurch to race at the Christchurch Track Carnival. It was an awesome day out on the outdoor Denton Velodrome, with heaps of fun races and prize money for extra motivation. From there I flew to Invercargill to race at Criterium Nationals. I was disappointed with the outcome, placing 4th, but after reflecting I realise I didn’t race to my strengths. I’ve taken those learnings on board and will be smarter in the next race.

A few days later, the Tour of Southland, which is a men’s only race, took place. I stayed in Invercargill for a couple of extra days to watch and help out a bit with the tour. My favourite day was when I got to sit on the back of the motorbike with a whiteboard and write out the time gaps between the breakaway and the main peloton to show the riders.

Back in Hamilton, I focused on preparing for Road Nationals and the Oceania Track Championships. I was stoked to place 3rd in the time trial at Road Nationals and carried that form into Oceania Champs. We placed 2nd in the team pursuit after getting relegated from 1st due to one of our teammates puncturing mid-race and having to navigate her exit off the track while trying not to crash. Unfortunately, it was deemed that this obstructed the Australian team in their race.

The following day I raced the Individual Pursuit and managed to secure my 5th consecutive win in the event, as well as breaking both the National and Oceania records. It ended up being my most successful Oceania Championships to date. Following the Championships, my Fearless Femme team owner and teammates stayed with me in New Zealand for a few days. I got to play tourist with them and show them some of the best spots around the Waikato and Auckland.

Kim Manunui

Hi, I’m Kim and I work with a great team to help individuals, as well as small and not so small businesses get their message, product and services to the world using digital media and creating wonderful websites that don’t cost the earth.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.

The digital world is never static and neither are we.

And I say ‘we’ because I work with an awesome group of talented people who I gather together as required to complete a project.  Whatever your business, not-for-profit or individual needs are we gather the best team to get the job done.

Collaboratively we are creative, share sustainable values and work hard for great outcomes because that’s the buzz of satisfaction that drives us.

If you have an audience and market to reach, we can make that happen. Creative design, words that work and smart behind the scenes stuff that cuts through the online noise. We’ll design your website and then build it. We’ll manage the content as well as all your hosting needs. We can handle your online advertising so you get noticed,
and we’ll manage your social media presence so you get the clicks, likes and engagement to grow your business. All within the budget you set, because none of this needs to cost the earth.  And the job doesn’t stop when your website goes live. We are your virtual business partner.
