2023 Groups, Clubs, and Corporates opportunities

We’ve got 6 great reasons to get your group, club or corporate entered into the 2023 Lake Taupō Cycle Challenge.

1. 10% discount for groups 10 or more


In addition to our early bird rate for the first 1,000 entries in this year’s Lake Taupō Cycle Challenge, if you’re a group of ten or more you can get a 10% discount off your entry. Simply email amy@cyclechallenge.com to access your unique 10% discount code before entering.

As an extra incentive, if you are a group of 30 riders or more, we're also going to give you free entries into the 2024 Lake Taupō Cycle Challenge. A group of 30 will receive one free entry into the 2024 event, with an additional free entry for each multiple of 10 riders over and above that eg. A group of 40 will receive 2 free entries into the 2024 event, a group of 50 will receive 3 free entries into the 2024 event and so on.

 

2. How about a FREE entry to use for your club fundraising?


We know groups and clubs love having prizes to give away, so if you’re a group of 10 or more and you’ve all entered this year’s event before the end of July, we’ll give you 1 free entry for the 2024 Lake Taupō Cycle Challenge for you to use to give to one of your group or as a prize you could use for a fundraiser or raffle for your club.

 

3. Fundraise For Charity


In the spirit of fundraising, each year we have heaps of riders ask if they can use the event to raise funds for charity. We’re excited to have adopted a multi-charity approach and have teamed up with Grassrootz so you can raise funds for your favourite charity.

We’re also thrilled to have Gut Cancer Foundation and Heart Kids NZ as Hero Charities for this year’s event. If you don’t have a charity of choice you can help these wonderful charities by setting up an online fundraising page and making a donation when you do your online entry. They would love your support.

 

4. Like celebrating with your mates? Have your own area to celebrate after your ride!


We have some great options available to get together after your ride and soak in the festivities of the event village in your own dedicated hospitality area.

 

5. Go ‘FULGAZ’ this winter with your club

Register for free to get your club riding together this winter on FulGaz. It’s never been easier for clubs to organize and schedule group rides, workouts, and races thanks to a new industry leading program from FulGaz. All club rides are private for your members, conveniently displayed in your very own virtual Clubroom. There is no cost to your club, however they are looking for clubs who will proactively work with them, to ensure a successful program for everyone involved.
